  4. Proper belt tension and pulley alignment should be maintained during operation. Too little tension may cause slippage and wear on the belt and pulleys; too much tension makes the stress on the belt, pulleys and shaft too great.
How to measure the length of the required belt:
  1. Wrap the rope around the two pulleys
  2. Make a mark
  3. Place the marked rope on a flat surface and use a tape measure to measure the distance between the two marks, which is the inner circumference of the belt
